Project portfolio management has emerged as a pivotal development in the project management field, driven by three key factors. Firstly, organizations are recognizing the imperative to stay competitive by undertaking projects that align closely with their strategic objectives. Secondly, the need to address significant challenges such as risks, resources, governance, and performance has fueled the growing importance of project portfolio management. Despite its growing significance, forums dedicated to project portfolio management have been notably scarce.
