Introduction

As organizations compete on grander scale, program management is a natural evolution from project management of successfully delivering these big and complex initiatives.  Unlike project management, the emphasis of program management shifts from the “hands-on” execution and move toward higher level of executive skills including strategic alignment, governance, benefits management, and risk management at a different level. In PMI’s world, program management is a distinct discipline, beyond project management but work in tandem. The most recognizable and authoritative of the certifications in this field is the PMI’s Program Management Professional (PgMP). With less than 10,000 certified professionals in the world today, PgMP is an exclusive club offering significant distinctions (as compared with over 1.6 million PMPs) and recognitions.

Summary of Offerings

PMO Advisory has been offering a variety of program management training since 2016, including creating the PgMP Exam Simulator. Our CEO have even written a book, “A Sensible Guide to Program Management Success”.  Now in 2026, we are introducing a new series of courses, not only for those who want to attain the certification, but also to learn and practice program management.

I. Current PgMP Bootcamp Products:

Introduction to Program Management Bootcamp (PgMP Bootcamp)

PMO Advisory provides comprehensive resources to help you pass the exam. We first offered the PgMP Bootcamp in 2016, and it will soon be 10 years. During this period, we have developed our content and PgMP Exam. Our CEO even published a book on helping professionals with the PgMP exam preparation. 

The PgMP exam is the most difficult of the PMI certification exams. While PMI does not publish the actual pass rate, experience shows that it hoovers around 40%.  Historically, our record is about 98% first time pass rate for those who follows our methodology, which is rather simple: “Using the exam mode (our exam simulator has two modes: flexible and exam), pass the exam at 75% two consecutive times within 7 days and take the actual exam also within another 7 days”. By following this method, the track record is a 98% first time pass rate.  Note: We offer money back guarantee (MBG) to our participants within the support period. To qualify, the bar of 75% is raised to 85%.  MBG kicked in only twice.

The new bootcamp, starting in February 2026, will be built on top of the Master Program Management course.  But unlike the Master Program Management course, the bootcamp will be organized via key questions and the examination content outline. Plus, we plan to embed more of our consulting methodology into the bootcamp.  Program management professionals should be well prepared for the exam after successfully completing the Master Program Management course and the PgMP Bootcamp.

Live Virtual Bootcamps: Full vs. Ultra

We offer two versions of the live virtual course: Intelicamp (or full live virtual) and Ultra Live Virtual. Both courses are blended with eLearning. Ultra Live Virtual is shorter and priced competitively.

• Intelicamp (or full live virtual) is designed for those who want more real-time interactions with our certified PgMP instructor. It combined the pre-recorded course with three sessions of 4 hours each, for a total of 12 hours of virtual, real-time instructions.
• Ultra Live Virtual is designed for busy professionals that still want to have real-time ineractions with our certified PgMP instructor.  It is the best of a blended world: independent learning (e.g. pre-recorded videos) with virtual real-time instructions (2 sessions of 2 hours each).

Mastering Program Management Course (MPgM)

Introduction

Program management is the next logical step for most experienced project management professionals.  Unlike project management, program management operates at a higher organizational level.  Rather than focusing on the immediate deliverables and achieving desired outcomes, program managers are constantly seeking strategic alignment, overseeing governance of the component projects and activities, making difficult decisions typically in collaboration with senior management, seeking synergies across the various program components, and optimizing the various constraints to achieve the intended benefits of the program, sometimes at the expense of project-level factors. In short, by operating at the next level of accountability, program managers are constantly balancing different factors, making difficult trade-off decisions across the program, mitigating (or enhancing) risks, and juggling the many moving parts of the program.

Note: While we strive to help everyone equally, we reserve the right to reject Application Review (mainly because we had a number of bad experience in which we had a difficult time understanding certain applications).  We would refund the fee for Application Review, and if you purchased Application Review as a part of all-inclusive package, we will pro-rate that refund.
