Microsoft Project 2016 Best Practices Guide for Project Managers / PMP, PMI-RMP, PgMP & PfMP Training in NYC

Sensei Project Solutions, Inc., a global leader in Microsoft Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) deployments, today announced the release of its latest book, Proactive PPM with Microsoft Project 2016 for Project Online and Project Server. The book focuses on project management best practices with Microsoft Project.

The lead author of the book, Sensei CEO Kenneth Steiness, has worked in the project management and scheduling field for more than 20 years, and has managed customer engagements in over 13 countries worldwide and throughout the United States.

Dale Howard, Director of Education at Sensei, co-authored the book. For nearly 20 years, Howard has worked with Microsoft PPM tools, teaching project managers, team members, executives, and administrators how to use these tools effectively. For the past 13 years, he has been a Microsoft Project MVP (Most Valuable Professional), an honorary title awarded by Microsoft to people whom they consider experts in using the tool.

“Project managers will get a practical approach on ‘how’ they should be using Microsoft Project and Project Web App based on industry best practices,” said Steiness. “Sensei’s goal with this book is to give project managers the expertise and knowledge needed to initiate proactive, versus reactive, PPM in their organizations.”

Printed in high resolution with full-color text and screenshots, the book is the foundation for Sensei’s approach to Proactive PPM. The book teaches project managers to build solid schedules reflecting the true scope of the project and continuously forecast status through completion.

“With this book, I have now co-authored 21 books on Microsoft Project, Project Server, and Project Online,” said Howard. “I am proud of this book, and know it will be a great help to anyone who is using Project Server 2016 or Project Online. This book was also a collaboration with several of our talented delivery resources at Sensei, including Terry Kneeburg, Chad Olson, and Walt Nickel, who bring real-life experience from being in the trenches every day with our customers.”

Readers will learn what they need to be successful using Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project Online, including:
